Terms of Use

Last updated 11 October 2026.

The website located at onward.training (the "Site") is owned and operated by Onward Labs LTD ("Onward", "us", "our" or "we"). Certain features of the Site may be subject to additional guidelines or rules posted on the Site, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Site. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old to join the waitlist. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.

The Onward app is not provided through the Site. Use of the app will be subject to separate terms that we will make available before you use it.

1. The waitlist

1.1 What joining means. The Site lets you register your interest in Onward by joining the waitlist. Joining the waitlist does not create an account, does not guarantee access to Onward on any date or at all, and does not create any obligation on either side. You can leave the waitlist at any time.

1.2 Accurate information. When you join the waitlist, you agree to provide your own email address and to keep it current. Please do not sign up anyone else.

2. Access to the Site

2.1 Licence. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

2.2 Restrictions. You may not: (i) license, sell, rent, lease, transfer, assign, distribute or commercially exploit the Site or any content on it; (ii) modify, create derivative works from, disassemble, reverse-compile or reverse-engineer any part of the Site, except to the extent the law allows you to do so; (iii) access the Site in order to build a similar or competing product or service; (iv) copy, reproduce, distribute, republish, download, display, post or transmit any part of the Site except as expressly permitted by these Terms; or (v) interfere with the Site, including by submitting automated or bulk waitlist sign-ups. All copyright and proprietary notices on the Site must be kept intact on any copies you are permitted to make.

2.3 Changes to the Site. We may modify, suspend or discontinue the Site (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice.

2.4 No support obligation. We have no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the Site.

2.5 Ownership. All intellectual property rights in the Site and its content, including copyright, trade marks and database rights, belong to Onward or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you, except for the limited licence in section 2.1. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

2.6 Feedback. If you share feedback or suggestions about the Site or Onward with us, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that feedback in any manner and for any purpose, without attribution. Please do not submit any feedback that you consider proprietary or confidential.

3. Training content

Training examples on the Site use illustrative data. They are not individual recommendations, customer results or evidence of fitness improvements. Nothing on the Site is medical or health advice. Train sensibly, and consult a qualified professional if you are unsure whether a training programme is right for you.

4. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through the Site, how we use it and the circumstances in which we may share it. If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy about personal information, the Privacy Policy will control.

4.1 Cookies and tracking technologies. For details of the cookies and similar technologies the Site uses and how you can manage them, please see our Cookie Notice.

5. Third-party services

The Site may include links to third-party websites or services, such as social media platforms ("Third-Party Services"). We do not control or endorse, and are not responsible for, any Third-Party Services. Your use of Third-Party Services is subject to the third party's own terms and privacy practices.

6. Disclaimers

The Site is provided free of charge on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not make any promises that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or free of viruses or harmful code, or that its content is complete or up to date. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

7. Limitation of liability

7.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you.

7.2 Subject to section 7.1, we are not liable for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity, or for any loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable, arising from these Terms or your use of (or inability to use) the Site.

7.3 Subject to section 7.1, because the Site is provided free of charge, our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site is limited to £50.

8. Term and termination

These Terms remain in effect while you use the Site. We may suspend or end your access to the Site, or remove you from the waitlist, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms. Sections 2.2 to 2.6 and sections 3 to 9 will survive termination.

9. General

9.1 Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and may also notify you by email or by a notice on the Site. If you continue to use the Site after the changes take effect, the updated Terms will apply.

9.2 Governing law and jurisdiction. These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Site are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you live elsewhere as a consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live, and nothing in these Terms affects your right to rely on them.

9.3 Resolving disputes. If you have a concern about the Site, please email us first at hello@onward.training so that we can try to resolve it informally.

9.4 Electronic communications. You agree that we may communicate with you electronically, by email or by notices posted on the Site, and that these communications satisfy any legal requirement for written notice.

9.5 Accessibility. We aim for the Site to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. If you have difficulty accessing or navigating the Site, or have suggestions for improving its accessibility, please contact us at hello@onward.training.

9.6 Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice, are the entire agreement between you and us about your use of the Site. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to be valid, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. "Including" means "including without limitation". You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer our rights under these Terms to another organisation if this does not adversely affect your rights.

9.7 Copyright and trade marks. Copyright © 2026 Onward Labs LTD. All rights reserved. All trade marks, logos and service marks displayed on the Site are owned by Onward or third parties, and you may not use them without the owner's prior written consent.
